Ipod blowback

one of the things that took me by surprise

when i was working on the last post about Ipods was how many people 

had created their own remixes 

on the advertising imagery...

...which is not too surprising, i guess. 
whenever a new "I" thing is introduced, 
it usually arrrives 
as an Icon, 
ad-wise...

...one of the things i literally couldn't help

but notice about the original Ipod ads was how all the action figures 

were alone.

in their own box.

weird.

music used to bring us together.

now it keeps us apart.

weird...

but it's good to know social commentary 

is still a thriving folk art.
