Stumbling towards the light ...

so I am Stumbling around online today 

and come upon this curious cultural 

learning opportunity...

it seems "cougar" is not a catch-all term.

there are linguistic distinctions to be made.

"cougars" are in their 40s.

"pumas" are under 40.

"jaguars' are over 50.

 ergo, madonna is a jaguar.
