Acccckkkk!

...the last couple of weeks before the winter
solstice has always been a challenging
time of year for me.

i used to think it was because my birthday
and Christmas and New Year's Eve
all back-to-back created some sort
of emotional weather event
in my head...

...the reminder that i was getting older,
and 'the year in review' and the whole
world's shopping and it's only a question
of how many times i'll hear
'the Little Drummer Boy'.
